Contact form
When you use our contact form, we process the data you enter (name, email address, message, and optionally company and phone number) to process and respond to your enquiry. The legal basis is the performance of pre-contractual measures at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
Integration, dealer-readiness and ROI quiz
On some landing pages we offer short quizzes that give you an assessment of your project in a few steps. We process the answers you select (information about your company or system landscape) and the email address you provide at the end to send you the result and, if you are interested, to follow up with a concrete assessment. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), given by submitting the form, which you may withdraw at any time with effect for the future.
Spam and abuse protection (reCAPTCHA)
To protect our contact form, newsletter signup and quizzes from automated abuse (spam), we use Google's reCAPTCHA service. Technical data (including IP address, mouse movements, and browser and device information) is transmitted to Google and automatically evaluated to distinguish human from automated requests. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in preventing spam and abuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
This transfer to Google LLC (USA) relies on an adequacy decision of the European Commission (EU-US Data Privacy Framework, Art. 45 GDPR) and, additionally, on standard contractual clauses (Art. 46 GDPR). Further information is available in Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
Newsletter
When you subscribe to the newsletter, we process your email address to send it. Subscription uses double opt-in; you can withdraw at any time. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
Cookies & Tracking
Technically necessary cookies are set based on our legitimate interest in operating the website securely and reliably (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Statistics cookies (Google Analytics, embedded via Google Tag Manager) are only set after your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via the cookie settings in the footer.
Google Analytics may transfer data to Google LLC (USA). This transfer relies on an adequacy decision of the European Commission (EU-US Data Privacy Framework, Art. 45 GDPR) and, additionally, on standard contractual clauses (Art. 46 GDPR).
Hosting
This website is hosted by Netcup GmbH (Germany). Technical access data (including IP address, date and time of access, page requested, browser used) is automatically processed to ensure the website operates reliably. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure and reliable operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We have a data processing agreement with the provider under Art. 28 GDPR.
Registration and use of the TRADElube platform (app.tradelube.com)
To register an account we need first and last name, company, VAT ID, address, phone number, email address and a password (stored encrypted). We process this data to create your account, to prepare and perform the software usage agreement, and for invoicing. The legal basis is the performance of pre-contractual measures or a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). We require the VAT ID and address already at this stage because TRADElube only contracts with business customers and these details are required for invoicing.
We retain invoicing-relevant data for 7 years due to statutory retention obligations (§ 132 BAO, § 212 UGB); the legal basis is compliance with a legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR). Unconfirmed or inactive registrations are reviewed and deleted on a regular basis.
TRADElube is hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH (Germany/Finland), with whom we have a data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR. Encrypted backups are additionally stored with Netcup GmbH (Germany), also under a data processing agreement. For accounting and tax representation we engage KK Konsulting (kk-consulting.at); as an independent controller, they process the invoicing and contact data required for this within their statutory professional obligations.
To prevent abuse during registration, we use automated detection of suspicious requests. In individual cases, this may lead to an automated rejection of a registration. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in preventing abuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
If you use TRADElube to process transactions with your own customers (end customers), we may also process their data on your behalf. This processing is governed separately by the data processing agreement that forms part of the software usage agreement; you remain the controller within the meaning of the GDPR for that data.
Storage period
We store personal data only for as long as necessary for the respective purpose. Contact enquiries and quiz leads are deleted once your request has been fully handled and no further retention is required. Cookie lifetimes can be viewed in the cookie settings in the footer. For account and invoicing data, see the TRADElube platform section above.
